Hi!

My name is Robinson Drossos. I’m a director, animator, and film music composer based in Paris. My work focuses on the relationship between sound and image. Specializing in traditional hand-drawn animation, I graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 2023.

My first short film as a director, Echoes, had its world premiere at the 77th Cannes Film Festival and has since been screened at over fifty festivals worldwide, including Annecy, Interfilm Berlin, TIAF Taiwan, the Bucheon Festival, Zinebi Bilbao, and many others.

As a composer, I explore the connection between sound, movement, and immersive experience, navigating between acoustic and electronic music. As a multi-instrumentalist and multidisciplinary artist, I pay close attention to sonic textures. My background in directing allows me to collaborate closely with other filmmakers on their own projects.

I'm currently developing my second short film project titled Mãnguès, while also working as a director, animator, storyboard artist, film music composer, and sound designer.
